Mi hijito
Tracting in the rain is a great way
to introduce a greenie to the mission, right? I`m not sure but it´s what we did
anyways. I´m training Elder Arroyo now and it´s been a ton of fun already. I
love this little guy. Just a ton of energy and passion for the work. His second
day out he committed a family of 3 to baptism without my help so yeah, we´re
gonna have a great time together.
We’ve seen lots of miracles out here
lately. Our mission is changing a little at a time. Our missionary culture is
more and more focused every transfer and it´s been amazing to be part of that
change and see the amount of souls we bring to Christ rise with it.
Also, this week the three cousins we
baptized a few weeks ago all got haircuts this week and just look so different
than when I first met them. Spiritual light that wasn´t there before. Their mom
noticed too and she´s getting baptized soon!!!! The moral of the story is
always see people for who they can become, because change through the Atonement
of Christ is very real.
con amor,
Elder Nixon
