Flamethrowers

Well, I know lots of people make jokes about cleaning with flamethrowers but I kinda actually did it this week. Our fridge went out and ever since then bacteria has just been growing and it’s gotten pretty bad. So, we decided to kill the bacteria we would take bug spray and a lighter and torch it. I think it worked all right. 

Last night we ran home through the pouring rain and lightning to get home on time for 2 miles straight. It was pretty dope but I was completely soaked by the end of it. It was a neat mission experience though. 

We´re teaching a group of cousins right now named Ezekiel, Kevin and Alan. They´re progressing a lot and it´s been so cool to see the changes in their characters. Every Sunday they have all the answers in Sunday School and it´s like a quiet proud dad moment for me every time! :)

A Full

This week was really great. We´re working really hard. We had the great blessing of being able to commit 9 people to a baptismal date this week which is a LOT for us. It was definitely a huge miracle. Some of those people are some cousins we´re teaching that have started coming to church with us. It’s been pretty awesome to see them just get super involved in the lessons of Young Men’s and just nail every question about prophets, the apostacy and the restoration. It was kinda like a proud dad moment for me ;)

The lady we found online named Ivana is progressing really well too and has a baptismal date! We’re super excited about her.

The work of the Lord will keep moving forward!!!

Humidity

It has poured here for 3 days straight so working has been fun but basically, it has made so much humidity I have had clothes hanging up to dry for 3 days and they´re still wet. I don´t know what to do cuz I am running out of clean clothes and what I just cleaned won´t dry. It´s a problem peeps. 

This week was really good. We have been working our hearts out. One cool experience was right after Conference it was raining and we found a guy in a wheelchair rolling himself and were able to push him across our whole area and give him lesson 1 while doing it. that was pretty neat and it felt good to serve like that. 

This week we received a reference from 2 sister missionaries in the united states that have been chatting with a lady who lives in our area. So shout out to online missionaries and my brother in law who served one! The woman’s name is Ivana and God sent her directly to us. She was searching for God online and found this Mormon chat service and now we are teaching her! the craziest part of the story is she shares a lot of land and her next door neighbors just happen to be active members of the church. It was pretty awesome and there is no doubt that God is in the details of His work. there are no coincidences gente!!

Conferencia General

My comp is pretty sick so this will be quick, but transfers have passed and nothing happened to me. I`m still with Elder Bailey. 

I just want to raise my voice to everyone about the importance of what we witnessed this General Conference. It was something special and I pray that we all recognized what really happened. We need to study those talks and seek to understand them. We need to seek the guidance of the Holy Ghost in all things. Please don´t take lightly the words of the prophets. Follow them and sustain the prophets not just with your raised arm, but with your actions. I know they are called of God and we need to follow them.

This was my district this year and the other pic is when we cooked some chicken and took it out, the handle fell clean off and all fell on the dirty floor. It was a solemn day.

Los capos de los capos

Well, first things first, GENERAL CONFERENCE IS THIS WEEK!!!!!!!! Ask me how excited I am. I`m pretty psyched. General Conference is literally like the Christmas of missionaries so it´ll be really good. Make sure to do everything possible to listen to the prophets this week and search for answers to your questions. God will answer us through his servants!

This week was really good. Transfers are coming up this next week and I'm hoping to be able to stay with Elder Bailey here a little longer. We´ll see though. It`s not about what we want, it`s only what He knows we need.
